I have been practicing as a naturopathy clinician for over 23 years, during which I have dedicated myself to understanding and addressing the various challenges that individuals face in their daily lives.
My approach has always centered around the profound impact that the food we consume can have on our overall well-being. With a firm conviction, I firmly believe that many of the health issues we encounter are closely linked to our dietary choices and lifestyle habits
My deep involvement in discussing the correlation between food and health issues often left me confused and disturbed. However, everything changed when I received the devastating news that my young nephew, aged 9, had been diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes and was prescribed insulin. His entire lifestyle underwent a drastic transformation, and his health problems seemed to escalate rapidly. Within a few years, he developed complications related to his fluctuating blood sugar levels.
Then, one fateful day, he was admitted to the hospital with a generalized fever. Tragically, within a matter of hours, he suffered a brain hemorrhage, and we lost him at the tender age of 13. It was an indescribably sad day that has remained etched in my memory since 1998. Overwhelmed by grief, I decided to leave my home and embark on a journey to understand the complexities of diabetes and its associated complications.
